HOTEL BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Reservation & Confirmation
A valid debit or credit card is required to secure all bookings.
Your reservation becomes binding when your payment is authorised and you receive written confirmation from the hotel.
2. Rates & Payment
Flexible Rate Bookings (individual bookings only): Payment due on check-in. Free cancellation until 2:00 PM (UK time) on the calendar day prior to arrival. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged one night's stay. Advance Purchase / Guaranteed Prepaid Bookings (individual or group): Payment is taken in full at the time of booking. These bookings are strictly non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable under any circumstances. Once payment has been made, the full booking amount is secured by the hotel and will not be returned.
3. Cancellations & Modifications
Flexible Bookings (individual only): May be cancelled or modified until 2:00 PM (UK time) on the day prior to arrival.
Advance Purchase / Guaranteed Prepaid Bookings (individual or group): No cancellations, no modifications, and no refunds are permitted. These terms apply without exception.
4. No-Shows & Early Departures
No-shows will be charged in full. Early departures are treated as cancellations and charged in full.
5. Refunds & Special Exceptions
No refunds are available for Flexible Rate bookings after the cancellation deadline. Advance Purchase / Guaranteed Prepaid Bookings (including group bookings) are strictly non-refundable in all cases. Exceptions (e.g. illness, bereavement, force majeure) may be considered only at the sole discretion of the hotel, and only with verifiable proof. The hotel's decision shall be final.
6. Group Bookings (10+ Rooms)
All group bookings of 10 rooms or more are classified as Advance Purchase / Guaranteed Prepaid Bookings.
Group bookings must be fully prepaid. Payment terms:
- 25% non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking.- Remaining 75% due six weeks prior to arrival.
- Bookings made within six weeks of arrival require 100% full payment at time of booking.
Group bookings are strictly non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable. This includes reductions in the number of rooms booked.
Room allocation and/or guest name changes may be permitted up to four weeks prior to arrival, subject to hotel approval.
By paying the deposit or full amount, the group organiser expressly agrees to these terms and accepts liability on behalf of the group.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland
All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
Guests resident outside the United Kingdom, including the United States, agree that these terms are binding and enforceable, and that any dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the laws and courts of Scotland
8. Definitions
"Local time" = UK (London) time.
"Day prior" = full calendar day before arrival.
